Century Spice Road

Winner of game of the year in Finland: Vuoden Pelui - "Strategiapelit". In Century Spice Road, players take on the parts of spice merchants trading spice in order to gain the most prestige. 

Each turn players make one of four actions. Either they play a card from their hand, buy a tradecard, claim a point card, or Rest in order to reclaim previously played cards. Over the course of the game, players will slowly expand their possibilities and be able to claim more and more prestigious point cards. The game ends once a player claims the fifth point card, which trig-gers the end phase. Here players tally their points, coins, and remaining spices, the winners is the one with most points.
