About

Retailer Day is a special event for us – it allows us to gather our customers and our suppliers under the same roof and have them interact. The goal is to spread knowledge of the up and coming games as well as strengthening the bonds of the board game stores across our region. There will be activities, seminars and finally an evening of casual board gaming fun. You will be able to discuss products with the suppliers and give them direct feedback and book meetings with our sales staff in case you should choose to do so. This year is a special one, as we will be experimenting with a couple of new initiatives. This is a day where we treat you, but we also hope that you will do your part in attending our seminars, events and make sure to visit all of our suppliers – you don’t know what you are missing if you don’t go.

Prize Wall and Prize Tickets. We are proud to introduce our Prize Wall (found in Titanium) – it is a booth where you can turn in your Prize Tickets either for items or lots in our evening lottery. 

What are Prize Tickets and how do I get them, you ask?

 Every time that you visit one of our supplier’s booths you will be given a single ticket. So, if you want that shiny signed game at the Prize Wall, you better visit all of the Booths. At a point during the day, our suppliers will begin delivering prize tickets of a different color, these serve the same purpose as the first batch – they merely allow you to gather more prize tickets. Also, prize tickets will constitute the rewards for other activities such as tournaments.

Klask tournament. We want to welcome you to participate in our Klask tournament. Each store is allowed to sign in one player in the competition. The winner will receive three prize tickets!

Event Games. Most of you have probably already tried these games, but few of you will have tried them this way! We are presenting a couple of giant size games, that will be available to lend for events in the future.

Retailer Day Only Deals. We will be bringing several great deals along that will be available for the duration of Retail Day only.

Supplier Presentations

For the course of the day our suppliers will be available to you in the Conference area of the hotel, as well as in Titanium. Here they will show their games over two rounds. Round 1 will feature demonstrations of a broad selection of their upcoming titles.

Round 2 will feature a more focused in-depth presentation of a single title.

Tournaments

We will host a tournament in KLASK for those of you interested (please remember to sign up for this tournament in your reply to us.

Seminars

Seminars where we have invited speakers to inform and entertain you on the current state of the market and communities. The goal is to supply you with inspiration and tools to bring home.

Catering

Following tradition, we will be serving food at the hotel. There will be a selection of vegetarian meals alongside the main courses. At 12:00 we will gather everyone in the restaurant for lunch. Later, at 16:00 we will serve sandwiches and again at 18:00.

There will be coffee, tea and non-alcoholic beverages available – until after 18:00 where we will serve you beers as well.


Goodie Box

As all of the other years we will be providing our guests with a Goodie Box filled with awesome games and promotional items. This year however, the Goodie Box will only be available to stores that have garnered a minimum of 10 tickets. Make sure that you sign up for it in our Prize booth.

Checklist

We need a couple of things from you in order to sign you up correctly – please make sure that you have given us this before the May 8th at the latest. You will be limited to two participants per store.
